Faces of the season

Nevada, Mo. -- Brianne Jones, left, and Katrina Penk, right, decorate pumpkins for the Second Annual Pumpkin Walk at Benton Elementary School Friday evening. Students and their parents attending had the chance to take trip throuch a hay ball maze, get a tattoo or have their faces painted. Decorated pumpkins were also judged. They also auctioned off several scarecrows that were decorated by various classes and individuals. The goal is to turn this event into a fund-raiser for Benton, similar to the carnaval that Bryan Elementary holds annually.
