The Nevada Regional Medical Center Foundation will host the first-ever Magic of Life Gala on Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Eagles Lodge, Nevada.
Proceeds from the event will be used to support the programs and services of NRMC. The gala will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour, cocktails and appetizers. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner at 7 p.m., followed by live entertainment by Gene Turner, America's friendliest pickpocket. Turner will provide a mix of comedy, magic and pickpocket entertainment. Turner travels coast-to-coast, displaying his own special brand of magic and humor. Throughout his professional career, Turner has appeared on countless television and radio programs and recently served as technical advisor for the movie "Bulletproof Monk."
He also entertained for Bette Midler during her 48th birthday party and literally "stole" the show. Prize drawings will be held throughout the evening including a chance to win an RCA 20-inch flat screen television and a trip for two to Las Vegas to see David Copperfield. Tickets for the event are $75 per couple or $40 for individuals.
