Nevada City Council to meet with three prospective engineering firms tonight

The Nevada City Council plans to conduct a special meeting at 6:30, tonight, in council chambers, located inside the city's public safety building, 120 S. Ash, Nevada.
During the meeting, council members are to conduct interviews with representatives from three engineering firms -- Scott Consulting, Larkin Group, and Algeier Martin. Each company is scheduled a 30-minute block of time for the interview.
Afterward the interviews are conducted, the council is slated to vote on a resolution to enter negotiations with the firm selected, for design and construction services on a project at the Nevada wastewater treatment plant.
In other business, city manager Harlan Moore will provide information about postal delivery.
The meeting is open to the public.
