Ambulance District board votes to place sales tax issue on ballot

On Monday, the Vernon County Ambulance District board of directors voted to put a 1/2-cent sales tax issue before the voters in April.

The Vernon County Commission has also agreed to place a sales tax to fund a new jail on the ballot.

Both issues will be put before voters in April.
