Mary Bailey

Mary Bailey, a resident of Green Forest, Ark., was born Jan. 30, 1951, in Fort Scott, Kan., a daughter of Clayton C. and Lois M. (Johnson) Fritter. She departed this life Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, in her home at the age of 56.

Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Church of Christ in Green Forest where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a special education teacher. She was a member of the Missouri State Teacher's Association and a Missouri University Alumni.

She was happily married for 26 years to Wayne Bailey who survives of the home. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Fritter of Columbia, Mo.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including two very special cousins, Jack and James Fritter.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial funeral services were at 2 p.m., Friday, March 2, at the Church of Christ in Green Forest with Ron Adams officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or to the Humane Society.
