An injunction against hunters

C.H. Hill, by attorneys Scott & Bowker, has filed a petition in Circuit Clerks Huff's office asking Judge Thurman to issue an injunction restraining M. Gummerson, B.J. Means, Charles Mills, E. Atkens, Walter Haire, Willard Gosnell, William Houston, John Doe, Richard Roe and others from hunting upon the tract of land known as the Cresap Ranch. There has been much litigation over the Cresap Ranch but this injunction proceedings "takes the cake." The petition makes the startling allegation that the defendants frighten the ducks and other wild game from the ranch, but make no charge that they kill game. To accuse a hunter of frightening game is more serious blow to his feelings than a charge of wholesale slaughter.
