Eagles raise funds for children's

The Fraternal Order of Eagles of Nevada held its 25th annual Children's Mercy fund-raiser on Saturday. There were many activities through which the group sought donations, including a live auction, silent auction, pool tournament, pony rides, face painting, golf cart races, moon walk and children's karaoke contests. Last year, a similar event raised more than $11,000 and with much support this year as well, the Eagles have raised more than $14,000 so far.
