Steven E. Pierce

Steven E. Pierce, 42, Milo, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at his home in Milo. He was born Sept. 23, 1964, in Kansas City, Mo. to Elvin Leland Pierce and Barbara Ann Foster Pierce. He married Pamela R. McClain on Feb. 28, 2004, in Milo.

Steven grew up in Lonejack, Mo., and in Colorado. He graduated from high school in Nederland, Colo. Following high school, be served in the U.S. Navy in the Seabees. Steven worked most of his life as an electrician and truck driver. He attended the Community Christian Church, in Nevada.

Survivors include his wife, Pamela, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; four daughters, Beth Pierce, Greeley, Colo., Casey Pierce, Walker, Mo., Brittany Pierce, and Kellie Pierce, both of El Dorado Springs; one granddaughter, Maria Jones, Walker; his parents, Elvin and Barbara Pierce, Milo; one sister, Lori Day, Denver, Colo.; maternal grandparents, Harold and Virginia Foster, Butler, Mo.; and two nieces, Katlyn Clyncke and Kelsie Clyncke.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, April 14, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Jerry Pyle officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery, Milo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 9-10 a.m., prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Those who wish may contribute to a college scholarship fund for his children in care of Ferry Funeral Home or Heritage State Bank in Nevada.
