William G. Autenrieth
William G. Autenrieth, 91, of Blair, Neb., passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2007. He is preceded in death by his wife, Frances M. Autenrieth, brothers Herman and Robert Autenrieth, and daughter, Dorothy Lynn Day. He is survived by Karen Autenrieth Olmsted, of Arlington, Va., Robert Autenrieth (Donna) of Blair, Neb., Patricia Autenrieth of Hyattsville, Md., Linda Autenrieth of Omaha, Neb., Janet Autenrieth, of Torrington, Conn., and Helen Autenrieth Fall (Robert), of Fairfax, Va. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Bill was born in Nevada, Mo., on Feb. 22, 1916, to August and Mary (Finnell) Autenrieth. He attended Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., and Missouri Valley College, in Marshall, Mo. He married Frances Oldham in November 1938, and moved to Omaha in 1942. Bill was an architect in Omaha from 1948 until his retirement. He retired to Texas in 1987. In 2005, he moved to Blair, Neb.
Funeral services will be held in Blair, Neb., at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, in Omaha. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
