Telecenter to host two writing workshops for beginners and seasoned writers
The Nevada TeleCenter is offering two writing workshops this fall with instructor Sharon Jeffus, author of more than 20 books.
"Introduction to Writing a Book," an introductory course for those who haven't written before will be held on Nov. 19 and 20. It will include choosing a title, writing a preface or introduction, developing a table of contents, questions to ask when writing a book, writing the draft and other tips to complete your book.
The second workshop, "Getting Your Book Published," will be held on Dec. 11 and 12 and is for writers with some prior writing experience. The fee is $75 per workshop.
The program is being delivered throughout the state of Missouri via the Missouri TeleCenter Network, an interactive video network managed by the University of Missouri Extension.
Participants will be able to see and hear the presenter, and the presenter will be able to see and hear the participants so that questions can be answered.
The program should be of special interest to all aspiring writers in the area.
