Editorial submission from attorney one-sided
Dear editor:
I am an avid and regular reader of the Daily Mail. I appreciate critical discussion of issues of public interest, even when I do not agree with the writer. However, I think that it was inappropriate for you to allow Governor Blunt's attorney to use your paper to publish a partisan and very subjective defense of the Governor's policy on e-mail retention and to attack the Governor's former attorney whom he sought to discredit.
It was especially offensive to have the author of this diatribe identified as a guest columnist. He was an attorney defending his client in the press when he should be preparing to defend him in court. This letter added nothing to the public's understanding of this issue, but permitted an uncritical presentation of one side only.
