HOOPS SEASON APPROACHES

Jordan Kerbs, Nevada's only returning starter, goes for a layup during a scrimmage between the boys varsity and JV Friday during winter sports meet-the-player night activities at Wynn Gymnasium. The Tigers open their 2007 season in the Carthage Invitational Tournament the week after Thanksgiving with an opponent to be determined.
