Cottey Comets streak by Forest Park

Cottey College skated to a win over Forest Park Thursday night.

Led by Jessica Roberts with 22 points, the Comets tacked on 6 of 13 from beyond the arc and 6 of 10 free throws in a 70-37 win.

Jessica Roberts also led Cottey in rebounds with 18 and as a team, the Comets shot 50 percent from the field and 46 percent from beyond the arc.

Forest Park was led in scoring by Rhakeema Canty with 12 and Rana Boyd with points in the loss.

The Comets' overall record currently sits at 7-3 and they were scheduled to play games at Meramec on Saturday Jan. 5, and Florissant Valley on Monday Jan. 7.
