More than 30 volunteers came to the Nevada National Guard Armory yesterday, as part of the first sponsored Ozark Food Harvest, Mobile Food Pantry. Volunteers appeared from Community Outreach, On My Own, Cottey College Rotaract, Crowder College, Challange and Change, and Vernon County Drug Court. Deliveries will be scheduled every other month. About 7,000 pounds of goods were distributed on Thursday. The remainder of the shipment was delivered to Community Outreach for local distribution as needed.
