Wenona Carol Wagner
Wenona Carol Wagner, age 61, of Joplin, passed away March 21, 2008, at 11:40 a.m., at the home of her daughter. She was born in Flagler, Colo., June 12, 1946, to Delbert Ivan Harth and Opal Belle Herriette Livingston Harth. She moved to Richards, in 1948. She attended school in Richards. She married Robert Lee Wagner, on Dec. 22, 1962, in Nevada. They divorced in 1978. To this union their only child, Deborah Lea Wagner, was born.
Wenona attended Fort Scott Community College and graduated in 1977, from nursing school. She worked at Nevada State Hospital for 30 years before retiring due to health problems in 1999.
She married Doyle Robinson, on Jan. 1, 1993, in Nevada. They divorced in 1995. Wenona moved to Joplin, in 2000.
Wenona is survived by a daughter and son-in-law of Joplin, Deborah and Jess Manley; four grandchildren, Zach, Sara, Jessica and Dilan Manley; her father, Delbert Harth, of Cortez, Colo.; a sister, Marie and husband Dale Wiley, of Fort Scott; three brothers, Wayne and wife Elaine Harth, of Richards, Dean and wife Pam Harth, of Nevada, and Troy Harth, of Deerfield; 10 nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Opal Harth, on Feb. 20, 1991, and a niece, Lisa Ann Harth, on Feb. 9, 2001.
Her body has been sent for cremation at Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Chapel. There will be no services per Wenona's instruction. The urn will be placed at the Deerfield Cemetery, in Deerfield, at a later date, by the family.
