Eunice Lorraine Doelling

Eunice Lorraine Doelling, 95, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, following a brief illness. She was born Nov. 6, 1912, in Horton, Mo., to Joseph T. Butler and Beulah Mae Humble Butler. She married Martin Doelling on May 14, 1935, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1999.

Eunice was born in Horton, and graduated from Odessa High School. She lived most of her life in this area. Eunice was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, in Nevada.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Ryan and her husband Ray, of Nevada, and Vonnie Burchell and her husband Gene, of Nevada; four grandchildren, Steve Ryan and his wife Anita, of Nevada, Doug Ryan and his wife Joyce, of Nevada, Mike Burchell and his wife Penny, of Nevada, Corey Burchell and his wife Jurea, of Nevada; seven great-grandchildren, David Ryan and his wife Crystal, of Hutchinson, Kan., Ka'Sandra Burchell, of Nevada, Nathan Ryan, of Nevada, Kyle Burchell, of Nevada, Brooklyn Ryan, of Nevada, Lorissa Burchell, of Nevada, and Maerial Burchell, of Nevada, and one great-great-grandchild, Aidan Ryan, of Hutchinson, Kan. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Doelling, and one granddaughter, Sheila Ryan.

Graveside services will be held today, at 1 p.m., at Newton Burial Park, in Nevada, with Hubert Fox officiating. Friends may call until 12:30 p.m., today, at Ferry Funeral Home.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
