Girl injured in ATV accident on Saturday

A 10-year-old Nevada girl was injured at the Walker Fun Days Saturday when she fell from a Kawasaki Mule and was run over, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Amy Shumaker was riding in the all-terrain vehicle while 13-year-old Payton Hays, Walker, was driving. Shumaker fell out and was run over.

Shumaker was taken to Nevada Regional Medical Center with injuries listed as moderate.
