There were reports of a check well being in the Sheldon area, an alarm in the Nevada area, cows out in the Compton Junction area, a theft in the Nevada area, an abandoned vehicle in the Schell City area, a vehicle accident in the Milo area, a juvenile in the Moundville area, a controlled burn in the Walker area, a structure fire in the Metz area, a check well being in the Deerfield area, debris in the roadway in the Nevada area, a vicious dog in the Walker area, a controlled burn in the Bronaugh area, a traffic stop in the Walker area, found property in the Nevada area, a civil matter in the Sheldon area, and an ambulance request in the Harwood area.

Ronald A. Cargill Jr., 24, of Nevada, was arrested and procesed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of domestic assault. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Larry G. Fritts, 50, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by theVernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of five counts of statutory rape. He is being held in lieu of a $20,000 bond.

Matthew E. Leer, 26, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for tampering with a motor vehicle. He is being held without bond.

David J. Priset, 26, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to appear on two counts of non-support. He is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
