Police Report Aug. 4-9
Aug. 4
An accident occurred at 4:55 p.m., at 309 E. Walnut, involving a pickup driven by John R. Lewis, of Nevada, and a parked station wagon owned by Timothy R. Turman, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 5
There was a report of an animal bite on the 500 block of east Walnut. Carol Willis, of Nevada, reported being bitten by a dog. The dog is under observation.
Aug. 6
There was a report of a burglary on the 1300 block of west Arch, made by Gregory Stephens, of Nevada. He reported cash, jewelry, four long guns and watches stolen.
An accident occurred at 9:05 p.m., in the Super 8 parking lot, involving a car driven by Steven C. Noel, of Madison, Wis., and the canopy railing at the entrance of Super 8 Motel. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 8
There was a report of an animal bite on the 600 block of east Vernon. Kim Phelps, of Nevada, reported a 12-year-old male bitten by a dog. The dog was located and is being held for observation.
An accident occurred at 7:49 a.m., on Edwards and West, involving a pickup driven by Joanna L. Perkins, of Nevada, and a parked car owned by Donna C. Thomas, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.
An accident occurred at 4:49 p.m., on Main and Ewing, involving a pickup driven by Joyce S. Kalthoff, of Nevada, and a parked van owned by Anna M. Conley, of Centerton, Ark. No injuries were reported.
An accident occurred at 11:07 p.m., at Auto Spot parking lot, involving a pickup driven by Michael A. Hartman, of El Dorado Springs, That left the roadway and struck a parked SUV owned by Auto Spot, in Nevada. The SUV then struck another SUV and the second SUV struck a pickup all parked and owned by Auto Spot, in Nevada. No injuries were reported.
Aug. 9
An accident occurred at 4:18 p.m., at Wal-Mart parking lot, involving a car driven by Steven R. Bell, of Schell City, and a parked car owned by James and Debra Stacy, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.
An accident occurred at 6:13 p.m., on Business 71 and Barrett, involving a pickup driven by Dalton T. Smith, of Nevada, and a vehicle driven by Margie F. Jackson, of Sheldon. No injuries were reported.
