In an effort to give back to the community, Kurtz Chiropractic recently held a fundraiser to collect stuffed animals for distribution throughout the community. Last week, Kurtz Chiropractic offered their services to patients at no charge with the donation of a new stuffed animal. In addition to animals donated by Community Christian Church, Living Hope and Maranatha, 102 animals had been collected.
The stuffed animals will be distributed for kids in crisis to different organizations in the community. Some will be given to emergency personnel, such as police, fire and ambulance crews. Some of the animals will be donated to Nevada Regional Medical Center and some will be given to Moss House.
