Lyle and Karlene Lent

Lyle and Karlene Lent, of Nevada, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 12, 2008.

Lyle and the former Karlene Zener were married on Oct. 12, 1958, at the First Baptist Church, Nevada. The couple has one son, Scott, and one daughter, Julie Van Der Schaaf and husband Mike; two granddaughters, Coral and Kirsten; and three great-grandchildren, Madison, Blake, and Kyler.

A family celebration is planned.
