Dog license/vaccination clinics continue
City of Nevada dog licenses were due in January, with penalties applied in March if licenses are not obtained before then.
For the sake of residents' convenience, the city is sponsoring to more clinics at which vaccinations and health checks, along with licenses, will be available. The first such clinic was held Jan. 24.
The next clinic is slated for 9 a.m.-11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 7, at the City/County Community Center, 200 N. Ash, Nevada. Veterinarians from Countryside Veterinary Clinic will be present.
The final clinic will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21, 1-3 p.m., also at the community center. Veterinary staff from the Nevada Veterinary Clinic will be present.
Dog licenses for 2009 also are available at the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash. licenses for neutered males and spayed females are $20 each. licenses for un-neutered males are $5, and licenses for unspayed females are $7.50.
