There were reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Compton Junction area, a grass fire in the Deerfield area, an assault in the Nevada area, an animal in the Bronaugh area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a grass fire in the Milo area, a 911 wrong number in the Nevada area, trespassing in the Milo area, an ex parte violation in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Sheldon area, a gas drive off in the Sheldon area, a grass fire in the Compton Junction area, and a suspicious vehicle in the Moundville area.

Brian C. Barnett, 32, of Metz, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of probation violation. He is being held without bond.

Clint R. Rawlings, 24, of Bronaugh, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of a warrant out of Johnson County, Kan., for possession of drugs. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
