Prospective owners for Habitat homes sought

Applications are now being accepted for the next home to be built by the Nevada chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Individuals and/or families interested in applying for the selection process can pick up an application at Haggans Real Estate 131 East Walnut in Nevada weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Interested applicants must meet the three Habitat for Humanity criteria; they must meet the financial guidelines, invest 200 to 300 hours of sweat equity in the construction of the home and must be currently living in substandard housing.

The deadline for applications for the next home to be built by the Nevada chapter is March 9, 2009. Completed applications should be mailed to Habitat for Humanity, PO Box 170 Nevada, MO 64772.
