Comets softball postponed

The Cottey College Comets came into Thursday poised to make a comeback from a disappointing weekend on the road, but the weather had other plans.

The Comets had high hopes of being able to bounce back from a sweep at East Central on March 20, followed by a split at Mineral Area College the following day, but Thursday's scheduled doubleheader against the Lady Pioneers of North Arkansas College was forced to be postponed due to forecasted wet weather. No make-up date has yet been determined.

The Comets' next action is scheduled for April 2, as they head back out on the road for a doubleheader against Fort Scott Community College.
