Comets swept in weekend doubleheader at home

Cottey freshman Ashley Wilson, Fort Osage High School, is safe at third on a steal during the Comets' first of two games Saturday afternoon against Mineral Area College. The Comets lost the first game 9-7 and went on to drop a run-rule-shortened game two by a final score of 8-0, completing the doubleheader sweep.
