Moundville man killed in weekend crash

A Moundville man was killed in a one-vehicle accident late April 3, when the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer he was driving traveled of the right side of the roadway and overturned, at 11:35 p.m., on County Road 1000, about a mile northwest of Moundville.

William J. Davis, 27, was pronounced dead by Vernon County Coroner David Ferry, at 1:05 a.m., April 4, according to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol. The report said Davis was not wearing a seat belt.
