Marvin C. Budd

Marvin C. Budd, 87, Nevada, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at his home in Nevada, following a brief illness. He was born on May 14, 1921, in Cedar County, Mo., to Robert E. Budd and Edith Phillips Budd. He married Mary E. Noel on March 20, 1980, in Nevada, and she preceded him in death on June 11, 2004.

Marvin grew up in Cedar County. He served in the United States Army from 1942-1945 where he was stationed in California and Florida. After the service, he came to Nevada. Marvin worked out of Wichita, KS for a number of years and also lived and worked in Montana. He worked at Nevada State Hospital for a number of years and Fram.

Survivors include five children, Marvin R. Budd, Wichita, Kan., Marvin M. Noel, of the home, Stormy Purcell, Nevada, Misty Jackson, Nevada, and Ralph Noel, Claycomo, Okla.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Delcie Setty, and three brothers, W.F. Budd, Ora Budd, and Bobby Budd.

A private committal will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
