Fort Scott JV golfers second at Jayhawk-Linn tournament

MOUND CITY, Kan. -- Fort Scott High School's junior varsity golf team finished in second place at a tournament hosted by Jayhawk-Linn Thursday. The Tigers shot 211 over nine holes while Burlington was first with a 195.

Individually, Lyle Brittain was third for Fort Scott with a score of 49. Zach White shot 50 and finished seventh.

Also for the Tigers, Jordan Nielson shot 58, Blake Cowen 59, Kolby Allen 64 and Grant Stucky 65.

The Fort Scott JV is scheduled to play Monday at Columbus.
