Girls' golf practices scheduled to begin

The Nevada Lady Tigers fall golf season is fast approaching and practices are set to begin on Monday, Aug. 10.

All girls interested in being a member of the 2009 Lady Tigers golf team are encouraged to meet in head coach Brian Leonard's classroom at 8:30 a.m. A current sports physical must be on file in the high school nurse's office before any potential participants will be allowed to take part in practices.

No clubs will be needed on the first day of practice and the season's first match is scheduled for Aug. 29 as the Lady Tigers host their invitational tournament.
