High school football practices set to begin

The 2009 Nevada High School football season is fast approaching and practices are set to begin on Monday, Aug. 10.

Practices will be held from 7 a.m.-9 a.m., and 10 a.m.-noon, for the first week and anyone interested in participating is invited to come to the high school practice field to join in. A current sports physical must be turned in to the high school before any participant will be allowed to take part in practices.

Any interested participants who did not attend summer football camps are still invited to take part in practices, but are strongly encouraged to arrive before 6:30 a.m., Monday to ensure that they will be able to participate in the first day's practices.
