Governor visits National Guard troops

Missouri's Commander in Chief, Governor Jay Nixon addresses several dozen officers and enlisted men of the Missouri National Guard's 203rd Engineer Battalion during a visit to Camp Clark on Tuesday Sept. 8. The Battalion is in training to deploy to Afghanistan for a one year tour of duty. As Rep. Barney Fisher and Adjutant General of the Missouri National Guard, Brigadier General Stephan Danner look on Nixon tells the soldiers "You are part of a force that's going to make a difference for generations." While at Camp Clark, Nixon observed some training exercises and presented 203rd Battalion Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Adrian a Missouri flag donated to the unit by Rep.
