Lady Tiger freshmen trounce Carl Junction

CARL JUNCTION, Mo. -- The Nevada High School freshman girls' basketball team earned their fourth win of the year Monday night as they traveled to Carl Junction High School.

The Lady Bulldogs just couldn't seem to get anything going in the contest and ultimately put up just four points in the contest as the Lady Tigers cruised their way to a 63-4 victory. Ashley Shumaker led the offensive effort for Nevada as the only player in double figures with 15 points.

With that win, the Lady Tigers extended their overall record to 4-1 on the year and are scheduled to be back in action today as they host the Lady Marksmen of Sherwood High School.
