Balloons for Belinda

Several family members and friends of Belinda Beisly release balloons on, Monday, Feb. 15, a cold and windy day at Newton Burial Park on West Highland, Nevada. The group gathered in remembrance and in celebration of Beisly's birthday. Beisly, who would have been 48, was found dead of a gunshot in her rural Deerfield home on July 15, 2009. The investigation into her death is ongoing and a reward of $11,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime. --Rusty Murry/Daily Mail

Where is the county in regards to this investigation? Any leads or is it a cold case?

It is a case that has been set aside so they can arrest a bunch of idiots doing stupid things.

BELINDA HAS BEEN PUT ON THE BACKBURNER THEY HAVE A KIDNAPPING THAT MEANS MORE TO THEM THAN A MURDER OF AN INNOCENT WOMAN

what really gets me is that Vernon County gets all the credit for catching the idiots, but they really had nothing to do with it. The only reason they were caught is because their car broke down. I'm surprised the sheriffs department didn't get credit for that. I agree, they should put some effort into catching the person who is responsible for this murder. Maybe they are waiting for their car to break down to arrest them too.
