Cottey choirs to perform at Royals game on Sept. 29

The Cottey College choirs, under the direction of Professor Theresa Forrester Spencer, will perform the national anthem at the Kansas City Royals baseball game on Wednesday, Sept. 20. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:20 p.m., and the choirs are to sing immediately prior to the first pitch.

According to Spencer, approximately 17 members of the choir will travel to the game for the performance. The college also has organized a road trip for faculty, staff and students who wish to see the game.

The Royals will face the Minnesota Twins that evening.
