On My Own casino night slated for Dec. 3

On My Own's third Annual Casino Night will be held Dec. 3, at the Nevada Elks Lodge. Dinner will start at 6 p.m, celebrity auction at 6:30 and casino events will begin at 7 p.m.

All proceeds will benefit people with disabilities. Stop by On My Own at 428 E Highland to purchase tickets or contact On My Own at (417) 667-7007 for ticket information.

I have no problem with it, but you know their sign at Osage and Austin violates the city sign ordinance. When we tried to put one there for the city market, with the property owners permission, we were threatened with arrest. Not a ticket, but arrest. The ordinance needs to be changed or applied equally.
