November 30

Amber Campbell, Nevada, reported a second degree burglary in the 700 block of Cherry Street. Item stolen was a jewelry box.

December 1

11:28 a.m.: An accident occurred at 400 S. Johnson Drive involving a car driven by Robyn R. Best, Hume, Mo., and a pickup driven by Helen L. Newton, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

5:14 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and Hickory Street involving a car driven by Lakelyn M. Simon, Nevada, and Nicole L. Bailey, Richards, Mo. No injuries were reported.

Letha Nelson, Nevada, reported a second degree burglary in the 400 block of North Ash St. Items stolen were: Miscellaneous jewelry and a 19-inch Sony television.

December 2

4:53 p.m.: An accident occurred on U.S. 54 Highway involving a car driven by Victoria L. Jones, Nevada, and a car driven by Bryant E. Wilson, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

6:52 p.m.: An accident occured at 510 N. Centennial involving a van driven by Margie J. Hacker, El Dorado Springs, and a car owned by Minnie F. Masters, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

December 5

9:32 a.m.: An accident occured at U.S. 54 Highway and Washington Street involving a car driven by Sharon K. Moyer, Nevada, and a truck driven by Everett E. Jenkins, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

December 6

John Somers, Nevada, reported a theft of $500 but less than $25,000 in the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Item stolen was a Mac laptop.

December 7

Richard Bozworth, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 200 block of West Grand St. Items stolen were: Dell Atom laptop and miscellaneous change.

December 9

1:29 p.m.: An accident occurred at Barrett Street and Business 71 Highway involving a car driven by Glenna F. Gordon, Moundville, Mo., and a semi driven by Charles M. Claflin, Sheldon. No injuries were reported.

Mustafa Saliu, Marshall, Mo., reported a vehicle theft in the 700 block of North Osage Boulevard. Items stolen were: Brown leather jacket, miscellaneous cash and a 2002 Lincoln LS. The vehicle was recovered in El Dorado Springs, Mo.
