Sadie Adeline Peak

Sadie Adeline Peak, 85, of Adrian, Mo., formerly of Rich Hill and Butler, died on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Adrian Manor. She was born on June 12, 1926, in Metz, Mo., the daughter of Roy Franklin and Cynnia (Rankin) Sheddrick. Sadie attended and graduated from Metz High School in 1944. She was united in marriage to Ivan Ray Peak on May 8, 1944. She was a long time member of the Eastern Star.

She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 6, 1993; her parents; one brother, Buddy Sheddrick; and two sisters, Merle Lucille and Lois Maxine.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Sadie enjoyed being with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 25, at 10 a.m., at the Rich Hill Christian Church with burial in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Rich Hill.

The family suggest memorial contributions to the Greenlawn Cemetery in care of Heuser Funeral Home, Rich Hill.
