August 1

3 p.m.: An accident occurred at Washington and Hickory streets involving a car driven by Melissa M. Crews, Amsterdam, Mo., and a car driven by Robert A. Koutz, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

4:08 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route K and Business 71 Highway involving a car driven by Heidi A. Pinard, Stockton, Mo., and a car driven by Tony R. Palmer, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

4:15 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Spring Street involving a car driven by Marcia G. Harden, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Roger D. Lukenbill, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

August 2

Michael Hancock, Nevada, reported a burglary in the 300 block of South Pine Street. Items stolen were alcohol and miscellaneous medication.

August 4

6:43 a.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 Highway and Barrett Street involving an SUV driven by Monte P. Fahle, Nevada, and a van driven by Mirian A. Biggs, Nevada. Biggs reported injuries.

4:09 p.m.: An accident occurred at Business 71 and U.S. 54 highways involving an SUV driven by Aaron D. Andrews, Bland, Mo., and a car driven by Tina M. Meisenheimer, Sheldon, Mo. No injuries were reported.

5:20 p.m.: An accident occurred at Route W and Allison Street involving a car driven by Briana A. Householder, Nevada, and a car driven by Carolyn A. Marshall, El Dorado Springs, Mo. No injuries were reported.

Philana Kapsos, Nevada, reported a theft in the 1400 block of North Main Street. Items stolen were an X-Box 360 and a Playstation 2.

August 8

11:56 a.m.: An accident occurred at Route BB and Pitcher Street involving a pickup driven by Brian E. Ast, Nevada, and a car driven by Tamara L. Johnston, Nevada. Johnston reported minor injuries.

Kathy Smith, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 400 block of South Main Street. Items stolen were: A flashlight, CDs with case, and miscellaneous contents.

Jodean Bunce, Nevada, reported a burglary in the 600 block of East Atlantic Street. Items stolen were a 13-inch Sanyo televisin and miscellaneous cash.

Jacob Shouse, Nevada, reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 400 block of South Main Street. Item stolen was a wallet with miscellaneous contents.

David Covey, Nevada, reported a petty theft in the 1500 block of North Main Street. Item stolen was a Milwaukee electric drill.
