Panel discusses community leadership concepts

Community leadership was the topic of the Cottey-Nevada Presidential Leadership Program held at the Center for Women's Leadership on Jan. 11. Above, from left, Nevada City Manager JD Kehrman, Nevada-Vernon County Chamber of Commerce Director Gina Ensor, and 28th Circuit Court Presiding Judge James Bickel -- seated next to Nevada High School Counselor Patty Murry, who serves as one of the administrators of the program -- served as guest panelists and shared about their leadership styles and ways they lead in the community.

Participants in the Presidential Leadership Program include Lauren Baker, Ashley Beeman, Caitlyn Cable, Kelly Clow, Paige Greer, Janell Hawks, Felisha Long, Cheryl O'Dinga, Lauren Phillips, Samantha Robinson, Kayli Wilson, and Lauren Young. Cottey College President Dr. Judy Rogers, Center for Women's Leadership Director Denise Hedges and Murray all serve as administrators of the program.

Maybe they could teach Nevada authorities some leadership.
