Nevada police seeking information in attempted assault
The Nevada Police Department received a report of an assault that occurred near the intersection of Austin Boulevard and Clay Street in Nevada at about 11 a.m. on April 26.
A 17-year-old female Nevada resident was approached by a passing car with one man in it who offered the girl a ride, which she refused. The man reportedly grabbed the victim's arm, but she broke free and ran home.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a forest green four-door passenger car, possibly with a dent in the front fender under the headlights. The victim described the driver as a dark- skinned man who spoke with an accent. The suspect left the scene driving westbound on Austin with a small child in the child seat on the rear driver's side of the automobile.
