Teen hurt in weekend crash

A 16-year-old Deerfield man suffered minor injuries in a May 13 one-vehicle crash.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Brandon W. Valentine was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Impala along Panama Road, 2 miles west of Deerfied, at 8:45 p.m., when he swerved to miss a deer. The vehicle ran off the roadway and overturned, the Patrol said.

Valentine was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
