Patriotic welcome

Tim Wiggens hangs one of the new patriotic banners purchased by the city of Nevada with tourism tax money to replace the worn out flags. The city purchased 130 of the vinyl banners and has put 40 of the banners around the Nevada Square, as well as some on West Austin and will be putting the rest on Centennial, Osage and East Austin.

GREAT JOB!!!!! The signs look very festive, and give a warm welcome to the town, all the while giving a salute to our Nation, our Veterans, and our service men and women! Good work Nevada, Missouri!

these are very nice and yes they are festive, but my heart always does a little flutter when I drive down Austin Blvd. and around the square and see Old Glory blowing in the wind.
