Griffons offering free admission this weekend

NEVADA -- Baseball fans are in for a treat this weekend in Nevada.

The Nevada Griffons are offering free admission to tonight's doubleheader with the Omaha Diamond Spirit.

Game one starts at 6 p.m.

The free admission is courtesy of Nevada Regional Medical Center.

Also of note, Sunday night's game vs. Omaha will be Fan Appreciation Night and 80's Night.

There will be free admission on Sunday night, too. The first pitch Sunday is scheduled for 7 p.m. These are the final home games for the Griffons, as well.

The Griffons are currently in first place in the South Division of the MINK League with a record of 20-16. The Griffons are two games up on Ozark and two and a half games ahead of Sedalia. Joplin is six games back.

Omaha is 15-23 in the North, in last place.
