Council to discuss easement tonight

The Nevada City Council will be holding a public hearing about a utility easement from the Nevada R-5 School District to install a fiber optic cable to the water treatment plant, during tonight's regular meeting, at 7 p.m., in council chambers, inside the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash, Nevada; to be followed by the first reading of a special ordinance on the same matter.

The council also will be considering Resolution No. 1351 accepting the Missouri Law Enforcement Mobile Date Terminal Project grant of about $21,000 for equipment and installation of five mobile data terminals for police cars.

The council will also be considering four resolutions to renew all of the annual liquor licenses in Nevada.
