Michael Keith Bailey

Michael Keith Bailey, 41, Nevada, the son of Ronald Ray and Carrol Faye (Vantellman) Bailey, was born Dec. 7, 1970, in Fort Stockton, Texas, and passed from this life Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, in Warsaw Healthcare and Rehab.

Mike worked construction most of his life traveling where the work took him. On Nov. 17, 1995, he was united in marriage to Roberta Christine Schnedler. Those who knew Mike well described him as extremely generous -- someone that would give anything he had. He was severely injured in July in Topeka, Kan.

Survivors include his wife, Christine, of the home in Nevada; his parents, Ronnie Bailey and Carrol Bailey, of Schell City; two brothers, Rodnie Bailey and Kevin Bailey, both of Schell City; one sister, Tina Tacy, Kansas City; two stepsons, Christopher Jones and Trypp Hostetter, Nevada; four stepdaughters, Christine Roper of El Dorado Springs, Mo., and Crystal Jones, Ashton Finley and Brittany Finley, all of Nevada; and cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Mike was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Ty-Ar.

Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 24, in Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City with the Rev. Shane Bailey officiating. Pallbearers were Billy Ramsell, Michael Bailey, Christopher Jones, Robert Schnedler, Kevin Jackson and Daniel Ogle. Interment was in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Schell City.

Arrangements for Mr. Bailey were entrusted to the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
