Preston Lee Haverstic

Preston Lee Haverstic, 81, died suddenly of natural causes Thursday, Nov. 8, while cutting brush on his farm east of Moundville, Mo. He was born near Moundville on Sept. 12, 1931, to Leland and Mildred Tapp Haverstic.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the Moundville United Methodist Church, Moundville, with the Rev. John Harrison officiating. A family committal service will follow at 2 p.m., at Newton Burial Park in Nevada. Friends may call now and until 8:30 a.m., Tuesday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and a Masonic service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 11, at 6:30 p.m., with visitation following from 7-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Welborn Cemetery or the Moundville United Methodist Church in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
