Former Nevada Lady Tigers softball player Jessica Neely may be done playing softball at Crowder College after this year, but her college career as a whole isn't over.
Neely plans to sign a letter of intent next Wednesday to move on and continue her playing days at the University of Central Missouri. As a freshman last season, Neely finished with a .405 batting average and had 18 doubles, 11 triples, four home runs and knocked in 48 runs and she was seventh in NJCAA Division I with 50 stolen bases in 54 attempts.
Neely graduated from Nevada High School in the class of 2011 and was an integral part of the Nevada Lady Tigers softball team that got off to a 16-0 start on its way to winning the first district and state championships in program history in 2010.
Neely is currently finishing out her sophomore year at Crowder College in Neosho, Mo.
