Community center bustles with activity

The Franklin P. Norman City/County Community Center, 200 N. Ash, Nevada, was bustling with activity Tuesday evening. In the large gymnasium, a middle school basketball tournament was under way. In the small gymnasium, a well-attended fitness class had participant's blood pumping. The Mo-Kan Square Dance Club was practicing in the meeting rooms, and in the community room, several people of all ages were taking part in games and relaxing. Among them was Mike Andrews, 10, who comes to the center every once in a while. His favorite activity at the center is playing pool.
