Eighth grade basketball falls to McDonald County

NEOSHO, Mo. -- Four games were played Monday night the Tri-County eighth-grade girls' tournament at Neosho Middle School.

McDonald County pulled off the only upset of the night, bringing Nevada' season to an end by a final score of 19-13. Top-seeded Joplin South rolled to a 44-11 win over Joplin North, while Carthage defeated Webb City, 43-21 and Neosho out-scored Joplin East, 34-27.
